Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: 06/01/2025

 

1. Scope and Intent

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Camping Kayaks website located at campingkayaks.com ("Website").  For all transactions involving products sourced from third-party suppliers, the refund, return, and warranty policies of the respective suppliers shall take precedence over any conflicting policies, terms, or conditions otherwise stated by MRT Capital Ventures LLC, DBA Camping Kayaks. In the event of a discrepancy, the supplier's policies will govern and apply to the specific products they provide.  Specific supplier refund, return, and warranty policy information can be found in section 11 of this document.

3. Return Eligibility

Customers in the Contiguous United States have the right to cancel their purchase and return the product within 21 days of receipt without providing any reason, subject to the conditions outlined below.  

3.1 Conditions for Return

  • Unused and Undamaged: The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Original Packaging: The item must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags attached.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

 

4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Customer Service:

    • Email us at support@campingkayaks.com within 21 days of receiving your order.

    • Provide your order number and a detailed reason for the return.

  1. Return Authorization:

    • After reviewing your request, we will provide detailed return instructions and, if applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid shipping label.

4.2 Preparing Your Return

  1. Package the Item Safely:

    • Securely pack the item in its original packaging.

    • Ensure all accessories, manuals, and free gifts are included.

  1. Include Documentation:

    • Include the return authorization form and any necessary supporting documents or images.

  1. Attach Shipping Label:

    • Download and print the return shipping label provided in our email if applicable.

    • Affix the label to the outside of the package.

4.3 Shipping the Return

  • Shipping Method:

    • Use UPS or Fedex

    • Ship the package within 7 days of receiving the return authorization.

    • Use a trackable shipping method to ensure your package arrives safely.

  • Return Window:

    • Ship the item within 7 days after receiving the return authorization.

 

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility:

    • All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Company Responsibility: 

    • If the return is due to our error, we will cover the return shipping costs.

 

6. Specific Return and Refund Conditions

6.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind

  • Eligibility:

    • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.

    • Return request must be made within 21 days of receipt.

  • Refund:

    • A refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable restocking fees.

6.2 Defective or Damaged Goods

  • Notification:

    • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item.

  • Documentation:

    • Provide photos or videos of the defect or damage.

  • Resolution:

    • We will offer a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs.

6.3 Incorrect Product Received

  • Notification:

    • Inform us immediately upon receipt.

  • Resolution:

    • We will arrange for the incorrect item to be returned (at our expense) and ensure you receive the correct product.

6.4 Product Never Arrived

  • Notification:

    • Contact us if your product does not arrive within the estimated delivery time.

  • Resolution:

    • We will initiate an investigation with the carrier.

    • If the product is confirmed lost, we will offer a full refund or send a replacement product.

6.5 Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipment:

    • You can cancel your order for a full refund if it has not yet been shipped.

  • After Shipment:

    • If the order has already been shipped, please follow the return procedure after receiving the product.

 

7. Exceptions to the Return Policy

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom or Personalized Products:

    • Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

  • Perishable Goods:

    • Such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines.

  • Intimate or Sanitary Goods:

    • Including underwear, swimwear, and personal care items, unless unopened and unused.

  • Gift Cards and Downloadable Software Products.

 

8. Refunds

8.1 Refund Conditions

  • Approval:

    • Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the returned item.

  • Notification:

    • We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Condition:

    • Items must meet the return eligibility criteria outlined in Section 3.

8.2 Refund Processing

  • Method:

    • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Time Frame:

    • It may take up to 14 days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

8.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations:

  • Condition Issues:

    • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Late Returns:

    • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

 

9. Exchanges

  • Eligibility:

    • We replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Process:

    • To request an exchange, contact us at support@campingkayaks.com.

  • Shipping Costs:

    • For defective or incorrect items, we cover the shipping costs.

    • For exchanges due to change of mind, customers are responsible for shipping costs.

 

10. Timelines

  • Return Window:

    • Returns must be reported and shipped within 30 days of receiving the product.

  • Return Processing:

    • After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process the refund within 14 days.

  • Refund Period:

    • It may take up to 14 days for the refund to appear in your account after approval.

 

11. Supplier-Specific Policies

11.1 General Application

All individual supplier policies detailed in this section supplement the broad policy precedence outlined above. These terms apply specifically to transactions involving the respective suppliers.

11.2 ORPC - [Aqua Marina]

11.2.1 Warranty

ORPC stands by their products. Satisfied customers are their goal, and we work diligently towards this outcome.

ORPC products comes with a standard warranty as stated in the manual:

For MSpa Lite/Comfort Inflatable Spa

• SIX (6) months for the spa pool
• Twelve (12) months for the electric part

For MSpa Premium/Urban/Muse/Frame Inflatable and Portable Spa

• Twelve (12) months for the spa pool
• Twelve (12) months for the electric part
• Twenty-four (24) months for the rigid wall frame

For Aqua Marina ISUP boards

• Twenty-four (24) months (board only)

For Aqua Marina Air Platform, Steam, Betta, Caliber, Laxo, Memba, Ripple, Tomahawk, Cascade, Halve, Blue Drive Power Fin Set, Deluxe Boats, Aircat Catamaran, T-18Motor, Electric Pump, Pure Air (PA-AK04P excluded)

• Twelve (12) months

For Aqua Marina Motion boat, Wildriver boat, Classic boat, Pure Air (PA-AK04P), Light set for Glow SUP

• SIX (6) months

ORPC products with manufacturer warranties are warranted by ORPC against defects in materials and manufacturer workmanship for the designated period from the date of product arrival at the shipping address. Warranty coverage is provided if the recommended installation procedures have been followed. After the warranty has expired, a service fee will be charged.

Verification of the warranty period requires copies of receipts or other proof of purchase.

• The warranty is valid only when this product is used for normal recreational activities and does not -cover products used in rental or school operations.

• ORPC will make the final warranty determination, which may require inspection or photos clearly showing the defects. Product can be returned only if a return authorization number is given in advance by ORPC, or it will be refused.

11.2.2 Returns

Received Damaged or Defective Product: To assist us, the customers must provide photos or videos outlining the issue. ORPC will provide the customer with any replacement parts/units needed for a complete operational product along with detailed technical support. If the defective unit or damage can’t be fixed by a replacement part, consumer will be eligible for a new functional unit.

ORPC products and accessories may be eligible for return or exchange if they meet the following terms:

• Item is returned within 14 days of the original purchase date.
• 15% restocking fee applies to any refunds issued on returned merchandise.
• Merchandise must be unused and in original packaging with labels intact.
• Receipt of purchase and image of the original products packaging must be present.

11.2.3 Buyer’s Remorse Purchases

The customer is responsible for the return shipping fee. The product
must be unused and in the same condition that it was received.
To receive a refund, it is critical that you have a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA) to ensure that your refund is credited to the correct account. Send us an email
at support@campingkayaks.com within the first 14 days after receiving the product, and one of our customer service representatives will send you your RMA (valid for 7 days) along with return instructions.

 

12. Legal Rights

This Return and Refund Policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
